Everyone Loves Airforks!

Big pre-season race in Mantova this weekend for the GP guys and it's otherwise known as the races where the top guys don't care much about the results and the media gets all excited at the guys that do well. But anyways, it's also a time where the teams unveil their bikes for the year and Martin Honda guys came out swinging with a new exhaust routing of the CRF450 as well as Showa's SFF air fork.

Air forks are all the rage right now due to the lightness of them and the backwards mounting exhaust is currently done by Yamaha. With no production rule in Europe, the teams always have some cool stuff to show and certainly, we'll be seeing this exhaust routing and hydraulic clutch on the production bikes soon.

Expect these forks to be over here on the factory team soon. KYB has them as well and rumors have it will be running them in nationals. Pro Circuit is currently the only team running them over here on Broc Tickle's KX450F.

Instead of routing the pipe in a circle by the shock, Honda chose to still run the header out the front of the bike. Keeps heat away from everything up in there and may be a bit more tunable than the Yamaha. Trust me when I say this will production pretty soon because Honda wouldn't do this for anyone.
