Who is #53?

At the end of the Seattle Supercross Lites West Main Event, Marvin Musquin—after a last lap pass on Eli Tomac—thought he was about to win his first-ever Lites SX Main Event.

The Red Bull/KTM rider told Jim Holley from Feld, in this post race interview, that he did not realize he was in second until he saw the #53 above the #38 on the scoring tower.

After the very lackluster year that Ryan Sipes has had, I wonder if someone had to tell Marvin exactly who the #53 was. If he did not know already, Ryan certainly reminded him—along with everyone else—on Saturday night.
