Stats Just Became Interesting
Normally, stats sheets don't impress me all that much. It doesn't matter what the sport is, looking at a bunch of numbers just isn't interesting. But this week, Vurb released their final SX Batting Average of the 2012 season and I actually got interested. There's nothing complicated to it. It's just all of a rider's finishes added up, then divided by the number of races they raced. Simple.
But what interested me here is that a 250 snagged the top spot, as well as fourth through ninth, Ryan Dungey managed to beat out Villopoto because RV missed the last couple of races, and only three international riders (Roczen, Wilson and Musquin) managed to make it into the top 20.
