It's Motocross Show Time - Hangtown
The opening round of the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship and the Hangtown National is officially in the books. Round one was dominated by Yoshimura/Suzuki's James Stewart in the 450 Class and by Monster/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki's Blake Baggett in the 250 Class. Both recorded a perfect 1-1 on the day and head to round two with fifty points besides their names. Rockstar/Suzuki's Jessica Patterson took home the win in the WMX opener with a 2-2 score on the day.
Besides the domination by Stewart and Baggett and the overall win by Patterson, there was a lot that went down in Northern California. Check out the RacerX Motocross Show: Hangtown below to see what all went down at the opening round. Jason Weigandt and Georgia Linsay recap all the day's action, and Georgia Lindsay grabs a quick post-race interview with Red Bull/KTM's Ken Roczen—who finished third overall on the day in his first-ever 250 outdoor national.
