Davalos: Catch Up
After a strong end to the 2012 Supercross Lites season—scoring podiums in Salt Lake and in the East-West shootout in Las vegas—Martin Davalos had high hopes heading into the 2012 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. At round one, he got a decent start, going 14-4 for seventh overall. Since then, though, it has all been downhill for the Ecuadorian. At round two at Freestone, Martin went 14-13 for eleventh overall and, then, had a practice crash before round three that took him out. Martin is expected back for this weekend’s race in Mount Morris, but the damage is done. Martin is fifteenth in the points and playing catch up from ninety-nine points behind Blake Baggett.
This week in "Catching Up With: Martin Davalos," the guys at Allisports.com chat with the Rockstar/Suzuki rider after the Hangtown National and talk about his 2012 SX season and expectations for the outdoors. They also film the #31 throwing down some laps at Elsinore MX
